Presentation of PDR & OFCC

The Reforming Democrats Party (PDR) is a political party which was created August 30th, 2010 in Cameroon; it also includes Organizing for Change in Cameroon (OFCC). On August 16, 2010 is a key date in the party creation process. It is the mark of a firm commitment, which reflects our determination to progress.

This party and this organization, very modern, embody change: "Change Yaoundé 2011" advocates the compulsory alternation of power in Cameroon and in Africa, and the limitation of the presidential mandate to 5 years renewable only once.

The PDR advocates among others a social, moral transformation of Cameroonians. This party considers the intervention based on cross-border social responsibility and the interdependence of the Men as a fundamental and absolute right.

On the economic front, the Reforming Democrats laud the taxation of profit to the detriment of capital and the extension of the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court to multinationals. One of the most important slogans of the Reforming Democrats Party is as follows: Any true democracy is the political and social expression of the principles of freedom and equality.

The currency of the Party is Respect-Work-Equality, and the emblem of the party is: The abbreviation PD in green and R in red followed by a yellow star are the colours of the party. Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Obama represent for this party the awakening of the conscience amidst human diversity. Their actions and their work belong to humanity as a whole.
